Happiness as defined by my friends overwhelmingly included mention of family, snowy days, their children, new socks 🙂 , children’s laughter and the gospel in family. There was also mention of a beautiful quote by Jeffrey R. Holland:

“Happiness is like a butterfly: the more you chase it, the more it will elude you, but if you turn your attention to other things, it will come and sit softly on your shoulder…”

I do have to say that children are a wonderful example of happiness. They see the world differently than adults, they trust more, hope more and an incredible sense of faith that everything will turn out OK. 🙂
